Organization Declared Fully Compliant with ROS Regulations

The World Research Travel Organization (WRTO) Malaysia recently underwent an audit meeting with the Enforcement and Control Department of the Ministry of Home Affairs (Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur). The session was held on Saturday, 13 December 2025, at the Kompleks Kementerian Dalam Negeri Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur, located at Jalan Sri Hartamas, Off Jalan Duta, Kuala Lumpur.

Organization Declared Fully Compliant with ROS Regulations

The WRTO Malaysia delegation was led by the President, YBhg. Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Dr Ng Yen Yen, and included:

  • Deputy President: YBhg. Datuk Rashidi Hasbullah
  • Treasurer General: Mr Goh Wei Sing
  • Executive Secretary: Ms Sherwyn Chan

 

The delegation was received upon arrival by the department’s officers, En Shah Rizal and En Mohd Aliff, who facilitated the audit proceedings.

Purpose of the Audit

During the meeting, the officers explained that this ad hoc audit is a standard procedure conducted to monitor the activities and financial health of non-governmental organizations (NGOs). The primary objective is to ensure that all operations remain in full compliance with the rules and regulations set forth by the Registrar of Societies (ROS).

Audit Outcome

Following a thorough 30-minute document review and a face-to-face interview with the officers, the audit was concluded with a positive outcome. The officers officially declared that WRTO Malaysia is in full compliance with all ROS requirements, reaffirming the organization’s commitment to transparency, good governance, and regulatory adherence.
